Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Seattle community. You will lead the maintenance team, supervise staff, and oversee interior and exterior repairs, ensuring safety and attractive grounds for residents.

A strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is required, with EPA 608 I/II and CPO certs preferred. Day and evening shifts, weekdays and weekends, with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent is required.
• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing preferred.
• Personnel supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA 608 Type I/II certs and CPO certification required.
• Understanding and ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in computer skills such as Ops Technology, e-mail.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekdays and weekends.
• Demonstrate Bell Core Values and exceptional customer service.
• Able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly (oral/written).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise maintenance staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain the community grounds and ensure safe, attractive environment for residents.
• Inspect and repair community facilities and systems; arrange vendor services as needed.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and manage trash removal.
• Maintain safety protocols and OSHA compliance; attend required trainings and meetings.
