Job summary

Bell Partners is hiring a Maintenance Manager to oversee interior/exterior maintenance, safety, and grounds at our communities. You will recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safe, attractive environments for residents.

The role requires 2–5 years in multi-family maintenance with HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, EPA 608 I/II, and a CPO certification. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA 608 Type I & II certifications; CPO certification required.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical knowledge.
• Proficient with Ops Technology and email.
• Days/evenings/weekends availability.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Clear written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff; conduct appraisals.
• Provide feedback to associates with the Community Manager.
• Ensure the community and grounds are safe and attractive for residents.
• Inspect the community and grounds; identify repair needs.
• Maintain grounds; coordinate lawn service with vendors.
• Set up and maintain the Community Compliance Manual.
• Respond to repair requests from residents and staff.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Ensure proper trash removal.
• Keep maintenance items secure and safe.
• Be available to residents and management on a regular basis.
• Attend required meetings and training; follow OSHA safety.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Additional duties as assigned.
