Job summary

Richmark Properties is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee all maintenance operations at our apartment community. You will manage work orders, coordinate unit make-readies, and ensure property standards are met.

This role requires EPA HVAC certification, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and the ability to lead maintenance staff. On-call rotation and weekend availability are part of the schedule, with opportunities to contribute to cost control and

Qualifications

• EPA Universal or Type II HVAC Certification is required.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years of lead maintenance experience.
• Background screening and valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including work orders and unit make-readies.
• Order parts and manage supplies to stay within budget.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure pool certification.
• Schedule vendor services and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Provide leadership and training for maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Richmark Properties is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations at an apartment community. This position plays a critical role in maintaining property standards, ensuring resident satisfaction, and managing maintenance-related budgets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including work orders, repairs, and unit make-readies
• Order and track maintenance parts and supplies, ensuring expenses stay within budget
• Maintain and service pool equipment (pool certification required)
• Schedule and manage vendor services as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal Fair Housing laws and all applicable local regulations
• Provide leadership and training for maintenance staff
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as part of on-call rotation

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• On-Call Rotation Required
• Weekend Availability Required

Requirements
