Job summary

Richmark Properties, Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee all maintenance operations at a residential community in Bedford, TX. You will manage work orders, staffing, and budgets to maintain property standards and resident satisfaction.

The role requires HVAC certification, HVAC system know-how, and a minimum of 2 years in a lead maintenance position. On-site work with on-call rotations and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal or Type II HVAC Certification is required.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and general property maintenance is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician or Assistant Lead.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including work orders, repairs, and unit make-readies.
• Order and track maintenance parts and supplies, ensuring expenses stay within budget.
• Maintain and service pool equipment (pool certification required).
• Schedule and manage vendor services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal Fair Housing laws and all applicable local regulations.
• Provide leadership and training for maintenance staff.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as part of on-call rotation.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining property standards, ensuring resident satisfaction, and managing maintenance‑related budgets and schedules.
