Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior Mainframe z/OS engineer to provide technical leadership for the organization’s z/OS platform. You will drive issue resolution, guide implementations, and collaborate with infrastructure partners to ensure secure, reliable services.

The role requires deep mainframe expertise, hands-on support for z/OS and subsystems, and collaboration across networking, storage, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with IBM z/OS and RACF security.
• Hands-on support of z/OS system and subsystems.
• Experience with z/OSMF, SMP/E and JES2.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Mainframe z/OS operations and reliability.
• Design, develop, and implement mainframe engineering solutions with limited oversight.
• Lead special initiatives and operational activities as a senior technical resource.
• Perform root-cause analysis for z/OS and subsystem issues.
