Qualifications

• Demonstrated working knowledge of the IBM z/OS operating system and RACF security.
• Experience supporting IBM z/OS system and subsystem software in large-scale environments.
• Proven ability to develop and enhance tools, standards, and methodologies for enterprise z/OS environments.
• Advanced problem determin­ation and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering and operational support for the Mainframe z/OS platform, including OS support and data center capabilities.
• Design, develop, and implement systems engineering solutions with limited oversight.
• Serve as a seasoned technical resource providing direction for initiatives without direct-report responsibility.
• Perform problem determination and resolution for z/OS issues.
