Job summary

MetLife seeks a highly skilled Lead Mainframe z/OS Db2 Site Reliability Engineer to join our Global Technology team. You will bridge legacy reliability with modernization, architect and direct mainframe modernization efforts, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing Db2 subsystems.

You will guide architecture, collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, automate DDL/DML requests, and lead resilience testing and data recovery from safeguarded copies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in mainframe z/OS and Db2 architecture and operations.
• Hands-on experience with reliability engineering and incident response.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation of mainframe workloads.

Responsibilities
