Chameleon Integrated Services seeks a Lead Mainframe Computer Operator to manage high-speed printers in a federal-grade data center and lead a shift, ensuring timely print jobs per mainframe instructions. Strong hands-on experience with laser printers, bursters, and paper handling is required.

The role requires reliable leadership, coordination with operations, and ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Substantive hands-on mainframe data center experience.
• Experience operating printers in a mainframe environment.
• Ability to lead a shift and coordinate production activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mainframe-connected printers (laser and impact) and bursters.
• Set up printers from mainframe consoles and load print media.
• Monitor printing and mainframe processing and escalate malfunctions.
• Schedule and track jobs using JCL within TSO/ISPF.
• Support Production Control activities and distribute reports.
