Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Magento Subject Matter Expert (Adobe Commerce) to lead architecture, development, and strategy for enterprise ecommerce on AWS. You will partner with cloud architects, development teams, and business stakeholders to modernize complex Magento environments and optimize performance for high-profile financial services clients.

The role emphasizes owning Adobe Commerce strategy, architecture, and implementation, mentoring engineering teams, and guiding platform decisions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
• Strong understanding of Magento architecture, modules, themes, and extensions.
• Experience leading Magento implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Expertise with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience integrating third party services, payment platforms, and APIs.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployment best practices.
• Experience with Git based source control workflows.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
