Job Description: Solution Architect
The Solution Architect is a thought leader who works collaboratively with internal and merchant stakeholders to influence the vision and implementation of eCommerce solutions built within the Adobe Commerce platform. The Solution Architect will leverage technology research, commerce best practices, and platform expertise to advise merchants on solutions to successfully integrate their digital and physical shopping experiences.
In this role, you will participate in pre-sales activities, conceptualize and prototype solutions, translate requirements into user stories and detailed tasks, support estimation, and establish project timelines/milestones. The Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the engagement throughout the implementation process.
Essential Functions
- Provide detailed demonstrations of Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source features and capabilities to merchants, identifying any gaps in out-of-the-box capabilities necessary to meet project requirements.
- Drive project discovery processes, document client requirements, proposed customizations, and solutions.
- Work closely with the development team to communicate requirements, approach, and proposed solutions throughout the development cycle.
- Configure Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source capabilities and workflows.
- Demonstrate client implementation throughout the sprint cycle, including customizations, workflows, and platform capabilities.
- Perform or facilitate quality assurance of client implementations.
- Manage the client UAT process to ensure successful outcomes.
- Depending on project scope, be responsible for daily project, sprint, and budget management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve project execution processes and best practices.
- Work closely with clients and vendors to detail solutions and integration details.
Requirements
- Thorough functional and technical knowledge of Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source platforms.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of experience architecting eCommerce solutions, preferably in a high-volume agency or solution integrator environment.
- At least 5 years of experience with Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source platforms.
- Deep understanding of B2B Commerce concepts and solutions.
- Knowledge of eCommerce trends and best practices.

- Experience with web development technologies and tools.
- Experience with agile and scrum methodologies and tools.
- Experience working with virtual teams and remotely.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Adobe Commerce certification.
- Scrum Master certification (a plus).
- Experience with Oro Commerce, BigCommerce, or Shopify.
