Job summary

ServerMonkey is seeking a Senior Magento Architect to own the Magento 2 platform, lead re-architecture, and drive performance improvements. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our CTO-enabled storefront on AWS, ensuring PCI compliance and secure deployments.

This role is office-based in Houston, TX, with collaboration across product, data, and marketing. 7+ years in e- commerce and strong DevOps practices are required, and leadership is essential for restructuring the web team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in web development/e-commerce with leadership experience.
• Deep Magento 2 architecture knowledge (Cloud/On-prem) and PHP 7/8.
• Extensive AWS experience designing and operating production e-commerce workloads.

Responsibilities

• Own the Magento 2 platform roadmap and architecture.
• Lead the configurator rewrite to improve speed and UX.
• Collaborate with marketing, data, and agencies; ensure PCI compliance and security.
