Job summary

GE Vernova in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Lead Project Manager to drive the execution of medium to complex M&D Platform projects, including OnSite Monitor and Generator Health Monitoring, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will coordinate across engineering, procurement, commissioning, and customer interface workstreams, provide governance, and deliver clear reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, IT, operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience relevant to the role.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
• PM experience in power generation or power services industries.
• Experience managing medium to complex projects with multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kick-offs and define scope, roles, and requirements.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of Monitoring & Diagnostics projects within scope, schedule, budget, and safety standards.
• Consolidate activities across workstreams to create an integrated project view.
• Oversee planning and execution across engineering, procurement, commissioning, and handover.
• Maintain governance through reviews, logs, and escalation management.
• Monitor metrics to identify risks, delays, or cost impacts.
• Engage stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare forecasts and executive summaries; drive continuous improvement.
