Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Technical Leader in Services Projects for Gas Power Controls Engineering. You will guide HMI and networking projects from inquiry to operation, mentoring engineers, and ensuring on-time, compliant delivery across rotating equipment and balance-of-plant markets.

This role demands strong project management, cyber security awareness, and close collaboration with customers and teams worldwide. A master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• 10+ years' experience in power generation or process control design.
• Strong HMI software knowledge (Proficy iFix, Cimplicity, Historian).
• Experience with Cisco network/HMI upgrades and Modbus/OPC comms.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of time; leadership skills.
• Proven mentoring and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical scope execution and design across HMI and networking.
• Mentor engineers to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery.
• Drive architecture, verification, validation, and commissioning per project.
• Coordinate customer requirements and ensure system safety and reliability.
• Support commercial proposals with technical inputs and test plans.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and enforce design standards.
