Job summary

Westside Campus of Care is seeking an experienced nurse leader to ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care, supervising staff, coordinating physician orders, and maintaining compliant operations during shifts.

The role requires an active TX LVN/LPN license and BLS/CPR certification, with 2+ years in a skilled nursing setting. Expect mentoring, PCC usage, and collaboration with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily nursing functions per rules and guidelines.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with care documentation.
• Mentor and educate nursing personnel on shift and coordinate with physicians.
• Coordinate shift assignments and resident assignments for CNAs.
• Ensure timely medication management and PCC utilization.
• Report incidents and ensure accuracy of the MDS process.
