Job summary

PACS Group in Texas seeks an experienced LPN/LVN to oversee nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and supervise scheduling, care plans, and daily activities to maintain high-quality resident care.

The role requires strong leadership, licensed practice as an LPN/LVN, CPR certification, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
Current CPR certification is required.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with rules and regulations.
Ensure all nursing staff comply with facility policies and procedures.
Participate in QA program development and surveying activities.
Plan shifts, services, and activities with assigned nursing staff.
Coordinate nursing services for residents' discharge plans as required.
Greet residents, oversee admissions/transfers, and monitor care plans.
Maintain charting accuracy and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
