Job summary

Lev At Town Park in Houston, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to deliver quality nursing care across short-term, skilled, and long-term residents. Under a registered nurse or physician, you will implement care plans, monitor residents, and provide education to families as directed by administration.

Requirements include an active LVN license in Texas, certificate in vocational nursing, and preferred LT care experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered LVN license in the State of Texas.
• A Certificate in Vocational Nursing.
• 2 years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership, organizational skills, and a positive professional attitude.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Deliver care following resident care plans and physician orders.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Assist in facility surveys and maintain professional standards.
• Educate residents and families as directed by Administration or physician.
