Job summary

The Villages on MacArthur in Irving, TX seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to lead and participate in direct patient care within a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. You will ensure high-quality services in a compassionate, customer-service oriented environment and support the clinical team.

Ideal candidates have LVN licensure, supervisory experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate care plans, document orders, and supervise staff under regulatory guidance.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN licensure as required.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management/supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Strong written and verbal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives and standards per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing pattern with Director of Nursing to meet resident needs.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans and coordinates subordinates.
