Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Houston, TX to deliver direct nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will follow physician orders, adhere to nursing standards, and ensure residents receive coordinated, respectful care.

The role requires an active TX LVN license, a Vocational Nursing certificate, and solid communication and leadership abilities. LTC experience is preferred; rehabilitative care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active LVN license in Texas.
• Certificate in Vocational Nursing.
• 2 years Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• 6 months rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy: Outlook, Office, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Deliver care to residents per their plan of care and physician orders.
• Follow facility policies and maintain professional standards of nursing practice.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Report incidents, exposures, and safeguarding resident privacy and information.
