Job summary

Audio Advice is looking for an experienced Lead Installation Technician to lead high-end residential installations, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate with project managers. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot systems, ensuring craftsmanship and client satisfaction on premier homes.

This role requires leadership, technical excellence, and a passion for delivering flawless AV, networking, and automation outcomes in sophisticated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in low-voltage installation, AV integration, smart home tech, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of residential audio, video, networking, and control systems.
• Experience leading projects, crews, or technicians in the field.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Strong understanding of installation practices including cable pulling, termination, labeling, mounting, and rack construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation teams in the field.
• Assign and coordinate daily installation work.
• Solve complex technical and installation challenges.
• Work closely with Project Managers to keep projects moving.
• Identify field conditions that require design or scope changes.
• Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Help ensure projects are completed correctly the first time.
