Job summary

Amplify People is seeking a Tech III Lead Technician to lead onsite installation, commissioning, and mentoring of apprentices on luxury AV, lighting, and automation systems in Colorado and beyond. The role requires strong communication, accountability, and hands-on expertise with high-end technology.

Based in Carbondale/Aspen regional work with a premiere custom integrator offering travel to yachts and estates, you’ll partner with global engineering teams to deliver world-class results while

Qualifications

• 5+ years as lead technician or equivalent.
• Experience with AV rack installation, wiring and commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major automation system (Crestron/Control4/Savant/Lutron/Vantage).
• Basic networking knowledge with willingness to learn more.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation and commissioning of AV, automation, and lighting systems.
• Collaborate with PMs, sales, design, and global engineering for project delivery.
• Mentor and lead an apprentice technician.
• Interface with high-end clients and luxury builders.
• Coordinate with global teams for programming and design support.
• Understand networking basics and implement IP addressing, reservations, static IPs.
• Work from engineered drawings and schematics.
• Work hands-on with Crestron Home, Control4, Savant, Lutron, Vantage.
• Maintain quality and brand-level execution across installations.
• Participate in team meetings and training at Carbondale office.
• Start each workday at the Carbondale office before job sites in Aspen and beyond.
