Job summary

Alaris Health at Cedar Grove is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide comprehensive resident care, treatment, and services within a 217-bed skilled nursing center. The LPN will assist in orientation and supervision of nursing staff, participate in daily unit operations, and lead clinical care per state and federal standards.

Responsibilities include direct resident assessment, medication administration, care plan development, and coordinating with charge nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license active with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate from an approved practical nurse program.
• Ability to perform direct resident care and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate unit activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care and treatment under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in developing and implementing care plans.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily unit operations.
• Communicate resident data to charge nurse and physician.
• Ensure resident safety and comfort and respond to changes in condition.
• Support physicians during rounds and examinations.
