Job summary

Alaris Health at The Atrium in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide resident care, treatment and services on the Center. The role includes supervising nursing staff, assisting with unit operations, and taking on leadership responsibilities across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• Rehabilitative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Possess manual dexterity and acuity to monitor residents’ conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, treatment and services to residents.
• Assist in orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Attend to the unit’s daily operations each shift and unit level.
• Assume leadership responsibilities and communicate pertinent data to charge nurse or physician.
