Job summary

Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN nursing supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards, and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to maintain the highest quality of care.

You will lead shift planning, review policies, and participate in quality assurance programs, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active LPN/LVN license.
• Minimum nursing degree or completion of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistant functions in the facility.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures.
• Lead staff meetings and planning for shifts, services, and activities.
• Review and maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and surveys.
• Oversee charting, documentation, and reporting practices.
