Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care to our residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will join a team of dedicated professionals committed to quality care and meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities include assessment, documentation, supervising resident care assistants, coordinating with providers, and responding to emergencies. Requires LPN license and CPR; experience with the elderly is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status accurately.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health to the care team per regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead RCAs in all job aspects.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Responds to emergencies and related calls per policy.
