You will oversee nursing assistants, manage charting, and coordinate with physicians to deliver safe, compassionate services. The role emphasizes leadership, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to facility procedures.
Qualifications
Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
Current, active LPN/LVN license in state of practice is required.
Ability to lead, supervise and coordinate nursing staff in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
Complete and maintain nursing service documentation and reports.
Administer medications and monitor residents as ordered by physicians.
Plan shifts, supervise staff, and participate in care planning and discharge planning.
Participate in quality assurance activities and facility surveys.
