Job summary
Sarasota Health And Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced nurse supervisor to oversee daily nursing activities and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. Qualifications
- Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
- Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with the facility's written policies and procedures.
- Lead in planning shifts' services, programs, and activities.
- Maintain and implement the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
- Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
- Sign and date all entries in residents' medical records and reports.
