Job summary

CASAMORA in Bradenton, FL seeks an experienced LPN/LVN Nurse Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and supervise daily nursing activities in a long-term care facility.

You will direct nursing assistants, ensure compliance with policies, maintain records, and participate in quality assurance while coordinating with physicians and other staff. This role requires current nursing licensure, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited program and an active license.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities with good communication.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants and coordinating care.
• Knowledge of LTC facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and update department policies and care plans as needed.
• Plan shifts, services, and activities in collaboration with staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and accurate staffing reports.
• Document and report shift activities, QA data, and discharge planning.
