Job summary

You will implement policies, review procedures, coordinate shifts, and maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual while reporting on shift activities.

This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and collaboration with physicians and other departments to maintain high quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Supervise day-to-day nursing assistants in line with current standards.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures.
• Review and update policies, manuals, and discharge planning as needed.
• Prepare and present shift reports and coordinate nursing services with other departments.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure staff compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate shifts, services, and activities with staff.
• Maintain the Daily Census and related records.
• Complete charts and forms as required.
• Participate in surveys and quality assurance programs.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Coordinate with physicians on orders and treatment plans.
