Job summary

PACS is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise daily nursing activities in a long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and guide the nursing team to maintain high-quality care.

You will direct daily functions of nursing assistants, review policies, plan shifts, and participate in discharge planning and QA programs. Strong leadership and adherence to privacy and safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse in good standing.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants and coordinating daily activities.
• Knowledge of long-term care standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Review policies, manuals, and job descriptions and suggest revisions.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities with staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure staff compliance.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with other resident services.
• Participate in discharge planning and QA activities.
• Disclose information securely and protect resident health information.
