TWINSBURG is seeking an experienced nurse supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee day-to-day activities of nursing assistants in a long-term care facility.

The role emphasizes adherence to federal, state, and local standards, with responsibilities spanning charting, medication administration, staff leadership, and collaboration with physicians to maintain high-quality resident care.

Formación

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program.
• Maintain nursing service documentation and records.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with the facility's policies and procedures.
• Review department policies, manuals, and job descriptions; make revisions as needed.
• Plan shifts’ services, programs, and activities with assigned staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance.
• Participate in facility surveys and discharge plan updates.
• Assist in planning the nursing services portion of residents’ discharge plans.
• Interpret policies to personnel, residents, visitors, and agencies.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
