Recover-Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee an assigned unit and supervise CNAs, ensuring high-quality care and strict record-keeping. You will administer medications, coordinate admissions/discharges, and provide skilled nursing procedures in a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, compliance with clinical policies, and clear communication with nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program with a current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Leadership abilities and a willingness to supervise both professional and nonprofessional personnel.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain meticulous record-keeping including required LPN forms and charts at admission, discharge, transfer, and other events.
• Accurately prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, coordinating transportation as needed.
• Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, dressings, and specimen collection per facility policy.
• Collaborate with the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses and implement recommended changes.
