Job summary

Recover-Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. You will join a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including a Charge Nurse and RN Supervisor, delivering safe, patient‑centered care in accordance with our policies.

Candidates must hold an LPN license and demonstrate strong English reading/writing skills, leadership, and mentorship abilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
• Caring and loving personality and demeanor.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Ability to work your scheduled shift.
• Ability to read, write & speak English.

Responsibilities

• Enhance clinical care and quality of life for residents and protect resident rights.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Check residents daily to ensure prescribed treatments are properly administered and evaluate status.
• Keep RN Supervisor informed about residents, staff and related matters.
• Implement changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Perform nursing procedures per policy and document accurately.
• Complete required LPN record-keeping forms upon admission, discharge, transfer, etc.
