Recover-Care in Kansas is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead and coordinate care on the assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care while supervising CNAs.

You will administer treatments and medications, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with RN supervisors to implement care plans. Strong English communication and supervisory skills are essential for delivering compassionate, compliant, and efficient care.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program with a current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Leadership skills and willingness to supervise both professional and nonprofessional personnel.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain meticulous record-keeping and nursing charts upon resident admission, discharge, transfer, and other significant events.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge of residents and arrange transportation as needed.
• Provide professional nursing services including catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, dressings, and specimen collection per policy.
