Qualifications

• 1-2 years verified experience with low voltage systems and cabling.
• Knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for Low Voltage installations.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape.
• Providing personal hand tools within 30 days of employment, per tool list.
• Demonstrates customer-service mindset and willingness to travel to meet objectives.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair devices and cabling of low voltage systems in commercial/industrial buildings.
• Work independently to install pathways and adhere to standards.
• Read blueprints and wire maps; terminate data jacks and plugs.
• Use and maintain test equipment and print labels per specs.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of materials on site.
• Provide direction and coaching to Tech 1s and others on projects.
• Ensure safety certifications are obtained and followed on site.
