Job summary

Communications Engineering Company (CEC) seeks a Systems Specialist to lead the physical installation of communications systems on all assigned projects. You will work with the project team to meet safety and quality objectives while adhering to industry codes and best practices.

The role includes coordinating resources, conducting site evaluations, and mentoring less experienced team members on-site. Strong communication and hands-on technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology experience within CEC or similar company.
• 1+ years of leadership experience within CEC or similar company.
• 2 industry certifications (NICET, Bicsi, CTS, etc.) preferred.
• Safety certifications (3) preferred and can be obtained within first year.

Responsibilities

• Review project information with key personnel and address questions.
• Coordinate resources, site access, PPE, and equipment with Project Manager.
• Oversee customer reviews of system functionality, schedule, and plan.
• Lead daily work plan and ensure safe work practices and quality.
• Inspect installation for compliance with CEC standards and mentor team members.
• Create punch lists, perform testing, train customers, and finalize documentation.
