Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Loss Prevention Team Lead to oversee shrink mitigation, loss prevention investigations, and safety of store premises. The role involves training and supervising LP team members, detecting theft, and coordinating with Inventory Control to reduce shrink.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills, plus the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• 1 year of retail loss prevention or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast changing environment.
• Direct and motivate a diverse team of full-time and part-time members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Loss Prevention activities and conduct loss prevention investigations.
• Detect and apprehend customers involved in theft.
• Monitor cash over and shorts and conduct audits through exception based reporting.
• Partner with Inventory Control to monitor and reduce inventory shrink.
• Conduct Loss Prevention investigations related to customer and Team Member incidents.
• Maintain locking systems, CCTV, and alarm systems in good working order.
• Train and oversee Loss Prevention team members.
• Manage electric alarm system tagging and high-risk merchandise security.
• Oversee safety and security of premises, employees, and customers; remedy concerns swiftly.
• Oversee physical security and fire systems in the store through inspection and testing.
