Job summary

Huzzle is seeking a visionary Senior SEO Leader to drive a mature Local SEO and AI Engine Optimization program for North American clients. You will inherit an established portfolio and shape strategy across Local Search and AI-driven experiences, balancing high-level mentorship with hands-on technical work.

The role requires 4+ years in SEO with local focus (7+ years for Director level), strong leadership, and extensive agency experience. A hybrid work model is available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in SEO with a focus on local/multi-location search (7+ years for Director level).
• Based in North America and able to work North American time zones.
• Deep knowledge of local ranking factors: citations, NAP, local links, location pages.
• Strong command of technical SEO: audits, crawlability, schema, site architecture.
• Leadership experience managing SEO professionals or leading across multiple client portfolios.
• Agency background: experience with multi-location brands, home services, or medical clients.

Responsibilities

• Own Local SEO and AIEO strategy to dominate traditional Map Packs and AI-driven search experiences.
• Mentor SEO team, set priorities, review deliverables, and maintain high quality standards.
• Develop and update SOPs for technical SEO, content architecture, entity optimization, and automated workflows.
• Manage Google Business Profiles at scale, including suspensions, reinstatements, and multi-location optimization.
• Research and implement AI-powered tools to improve research, analysis, and content workflows.
• Define KPIs linking organic visibility and Google Business Profile engagement to client leads and revenue.
• Act as strategic lead on key accounts and collaborate across Paid Search, Dev, and Content.
