Job summary

Huzzle is seeking a senior SEO leader to guide a mature program into Local SEO and AI Engine Optimization (AIEO). You will inherit an established portfolio and balance high-level mentorship with hands-on technical work, shaping strategy for multi-location clients across North America.

The role emphasizes staying ahead of algorithm shifts, deploying AI-driven workflows, defining KPIs tied to leads and revenue, and collaborating with Paid Search, Dev, and Content teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on SEO, local/multi-location focus
• North America-based, NA time zones
• In-depth local ranking factors knowledge (NAP, citations)
• Generative search and AI-driven SEO concepts (AIEO)
• Strong technical SEO audits, crawlability, schema, site architecture
• Leadership experience managing SEO teams or leading portfolios
• Agency background with multi-location brands, home services, medical clients

Responsibilities

• Own Local SEO and AIEO strategy across multi-location clients
• Mentor SEO team, set priorities, review deliverables
• Develop and update agency SOPs for technical SEO and content workflows
• Manage Google Business Profiles at scale, including suspensions and reinstatements
• Research AI-powered tools to improve research, analysis, and content workflows
• Define KPIs linking organic visibility and GP engagement to leads/revenue
• Present performance data to clients and collaborate with Paid Search, Dev, Content teams
