Job summary

Huzzle is seeking a senior SEO leader to drive a mature local search program for clients across North America. You will own strategy for Local SEO and AI Engine Optimization (AIEO), guiding a talented team and delivering measurable revenue growth for diverse clients.

You will balance high-level strategic oversight with hands-on technical execution, mentoring staff, refining processes, and staying ahead of Google algorithm shifts to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in local/multi-location SEO (7+ for Director).
• Based in North America and aligned with NA time zones.
• Deep knowledge of local rankings, citations, NAP, location pages.
• Understanding of AI-driven search and generative SEO.
• Strong technical SEO skills: audits, crawlability, schema, site structure.

Responsibilities

• Own Local SEO and AIEO strategy across clients.
• Mentor SEO team and set priorities with quality control.
• Develop and update SOPs for technical SEO and content workflows.
• Manage GBP optimization and multi-location issues.
• Research and apply AI-powered tools to improve workflows.
• Define KPIs linking visibility to leads and revenue.
• Collaborate with Paid Search, Dev, and Content teams for client success.
