Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a seasoned on-site leader to manage craft professionals and superintendents on an LNG project in the Houston area. You will direct activities, align schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver work within safety, budget, and schedule constraints.

The ideal candidate will have LNG experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record in heavy industrial construction. Mobility to other units or locations may be required as needs arise.

Qualifications

• Construction experience on LNG projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams
• Construction experience assigned to a construction site in a supervisory position
• Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience in a supervisory role
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing, or power generating station construction
• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets and databases
• Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
• Extensive piping experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on the LNG project
• Direct craft activities and work schedules and coordinate subcontract work
• Ensure tools and resources are available and align with project policies and schedules
• Maintain compliance with design documents, specifications and budgets
• Collaborate with engineers, foremen and subcontractors to interpret technical documents
