Job summary

Bechtel in Houston, TX, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead a team of craft professionals on a major LNG plant project. You will supervise superintendents, coordinate subcontract work, and ensure compliance with project policies, schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 8–14 years in heavy industrial construction, a bachelor's degree, and strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills, with willingness to mobility to other units as needs arise.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising on a construction site.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of industry codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned and coordinates schedules.
• Determines workforce requirements and plans established area operational plans.
• Monitors tool and equipment usage and ensures craft have necessary tools.
• Ensures design documents are current and changes are approved before work.
• Interprets engineering and vendor documents and works with subcontractors and foremen.
