Job summary

NBA is seeking a Game Production Supervisor, Local Media, to coordinate and oversee live game broadcasts and related programming. You will lead editorial execution, production quality, and budget/schedule oversight across assigned games and markets.

Reporting to the Game Production Lead, you’ll translate strategic direction into actionable plans, mentor producers, and improve workflows with internal teams and external partners. Hybrid remote options supported in the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Television Production, Media Production, or related field preferred.
• Five+ years producing live sports broadcasts in leadership roles (coordinating/senior producer).
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, staffing, and resources for live or remote productions.
• Experience with internal teams, local partners, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee live NBA game broadcasts from pre-production through post-production.
• Translate strategy into game plans, rundowns, schedules, and staffing.
• Provide editorial leadership for storylines, talent, graphics, and replay.
• Lead pre-production meetings, rehearsals, and post-game debriefs.
• Coordinate with partners to ensure aligned production deliverables and budgets.
