Job summary

NBA is hiring a Producer, Local Media Game Production to plan and support live game broadcasts. You will work with local teams and partners to ensure content, resources, and production assets are ready for game day.

Reporting to the Game Production Lead, you’ll help oversee pre-production, live execution, and post-production activities, while driving editorial quality and operational efficiency across broadcasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Television Production, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Five+ years producing live sports broadcasts, basketball preferred.
• Experience supporting live sports productions in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with rundown management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production planning with supervisors and onsite teams for assigned broadcasts.
• Collaborate with partners on graphics, programming, and integration.
• Support live game coverage to meet editorial and technical standards.
• Manage content needs and resources for successful broadcasts.
• Liaise with vendors and travel as needed for game productions.
