Job summary

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of combined relevant work experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning or aviation-related discipline.
• One (1) year of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of FARs, AMPs/MPDs, ADs and SBs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% overnight and pass background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee forecasting, planning, and scheduling of maintenance events to meet FAA standards and customer needs.
• Review planned workloads and guide maintenance planners accordingly.
• Track and report daily progress by measuring and recording established metrics.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers on critical issues.
• Oversee recovery plans if operations are affected by delays or cancellations.
• Supervise planners in preparing scheduled line maintenance tasks (checks, MELs, CDL, TSIs, GMM items).
• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for daily workload.
• Develop crewmembers and promote JetBlue safety and performance culture.
