White Lodging is seeking a Lead Line Cook to join Yacht Club, the signature seafood restaurant at Hotel Trinity, Autograph Collection in downtown Austin, TX. You will step into a Sous Chef in training role, leading daily back-of-house operations and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced pre-opening hotel kitchen.

The role offers a clear kitchen leadership path with opportunities across Marriott Autograph Collection properties.

Qualifications

• Active unexpired Food Handler's Certification — required.
• Hotel/luxury dining experience preferred; training provided for right candidate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pre-opening hotel kitchen in downtown Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Sous Chef in training, overseeing BOH operations when the Sous Chef is away.
• Mentor and collaborate with entry-level cooks, line cooks, apprentices, and stewards.
• Follow all F&B procedures, health regulations, and safety guidelines across every shift.
