Job summary

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, CA is seeking a line cook to carry out the policies of the POM department and prepare food to the specified standards. The successful candidate will assist in all areas of kitchen production and help maintain proper sanitation throughout the operation.

You will also stock and rotate product, support the Chef and Sous Chef, and adapt to various kitchen stations as needed. Two to three years of experience and sanitation certification are required.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience.
• Advanced cooking knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Written and verbal English communication required.
• Sanitation certificate and/or ServSafe license required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to standards and policies.
• Assist in all areas of POM kitchen production.
• Maintain sanitation across all areas.
• Stock and rotate product efficiently.
• Supervise kitchen in the absence of Chef or Sous chef.
• Follow proper uniform and nametag policy.
• All other duties as assigned.
