Job summary

AMA Atlanta is seeking a dedicated kitchen supervisor to oversee all aspects of the line area and food items in our Atlanta kitchen. You will provide a positive leadership role model for hourly staff and ensure proper setup and close down of each shift.

You will follow company specifications, implement food safety logs, and apply FIFO rotation to maintain quality and inventory control. This full-time role requires attention to detail and adherence to established menus and recipes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is prefered
• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
• Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
• Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects fo the line area and food items
• Provide a positive, consistent leadership role model to hourly staff
• Use check lists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift
• Follow all company specifications and procedure to ensure perfect food
• Follow and use all food safety procedures and logs
• Follow all food rotation and re-stocking procedure using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
