Job summary

ilani, Inc. is hiring a Master Cook (Line & Lure) to join our culinary team. You will prep, prepare and deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to recipe standards.

As a key line cook, you will train others, monitor stock, and maintain health and safety standards while working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends. The role starts at $21.00 per hour with progression for experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Two (2) years’ experience as a line cook in a high-volume, multi-million-dollar outlet.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to foster a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prep, prepare and deliver highest quality meals as part of a culinary team.
• Promote superior guest service and uphold health and safety standards.
• Assist in daily line checks and monitor stock levels; maintain cleanliness.
• Train and mentor line cooks in proper preparation and food safety techniques.
• Monitor food waste to control cost of goods and ensure recipe adherence.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure timely, quality execution of duties.
• Communicate proactively with leadership and front-line staff.
