Job summary

White Lodging Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. This kitchen leadership role is designed for an experienced line cook ready to advance toward Sous Chef, overseeing all back-of-house operations and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring kitchen staff is strongly preferred.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards in a high-volume hotel kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily BOH operations and step into Sous Chef responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
• Mentor and collaborate with cooks and apprentices to ensure timely food preparation.
• Follow F&B procedures, health regulations, and food safety guidelines.
• Monitor food and labor costs to meet financial targets.
• Enforce recipe standards, portion control, and freshness checks.
• Cultivate a cooperative, respectful kitchen culture and maintain service quality.
