White Lodging is hiring a Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. This role leads daily BOH operations, mentors junior staff, and steps into a Sous Chef in training capacity to ensure smooth production and high standards.

Ideal candidates are senior line or lead cooks seeking a clear path to culinary management within a top hospitality company operating premium hotels across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring kitchen staff.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Sous Chef in training - overseeing BOH operations in the Sous Chef's absence
• Mentor and collaborate with Entry Level Cooks, Line Cooks, and culinary apprentices during daily prep
• Follow company F&B procedures and federal food safety guidelines
• Assist in maintaining food and labor cost standards to meet targets
• Check ingredient freshness and enforce recipe standards and portion control
• Monitor guest feedback and influence food quality and service consistency
• Foster a culture of cooperation and professional kitchen standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
